| The
History of ACI...
Albus
Conveyors Inc. was founded by Roger E. Albus (pictured at left) on September
1, 1960. ACI began by supplying implement dealers with a necessary replacement
part for their customers manure spreaders, an apron - type conveyor. By
1965 ACI could assemble over 500 different combinations of steel bars
and chains to fit many, and varied types of spreaders. In
1982 Kevin G. Albus (at right) joined ACI as President. Over the years,
ACI has expanded to manufacture over 1,000 different combinations of spreader
aprons and forage box aprons. Along with these products, A.C.I. manufactures
a rubber flighted Bunk Feeder Chain. All our products use American made
parts, and can be shipped same or next day.
In 1991, a local Municipal Official contacted ACI about building them
a Salt & Sand Spreader Apron chain. ACI can now furnish aprons
for nearly all makes and models of Salt & Sand Spreaders.
For over 40 years, Albus Conveyors, Inc. has been a Family Owned and Operated
Company, offering High-Quality products in the Agriculture and Industrial
Markets.
